Research Program

My current research program is focused in the areas of stochastic modelling, optimization and game theory applications. I am also interested in the applications of the computer algebra system Maple in operations research modelling.

My work in these and other areas have appeared in the form of one book and nearly 130 refereed articles published (or accepted for publication) in journals such as

Operations Research (FT 50 and UT Dallas 24 journal);

Management Science (FT 50 and UT Dallas 24 journal);

Manufacturing and Service Operations Management (FT 50 and UT Dallas 24 journal);

Journal of Operations Management (FT 50 and UT Dallas 24 journal);

Production and Operations Management (FT 50 and UT Dallas 24 journal);

Naval Research Logistics;

IIE Transactions;

Operations Research  Letters;

Transportation Science; and

Annals of Operations Research; Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications; European Journal of Operational Research; Journal of Quality Technology; INFOR; Opsearch; International Journal of Production Research; Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences; Optimal Control Applications and Methods; IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics; IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control; Automatica; Stochastic Analysis and Applications; Sequential Analysis; Forest Science; Socio-Economic Planning Sciences; Applied Mathematical Finance, and others.
